Our Story
We met by being neighbors, we weren't right next door to each other but across the "green space". I owned a townhouse in a Mpls. suburb and he lived across the way with a married couple. Myself and the neighbors used to hang out on our patios quite a bit and they had a birthday party for me one night and Jared was there. It took a few months for us to have longer conversations as Jared is a little quiet at first, until you get to know him. However, apparently the first night I met him I asked his roommate "what his story was", a question I don't remember asking but totally a question I'd ask. One night we were at the neighbors and a debate started between us on how a certain line in Jerry Maguire, and that was the beginning of us.
It will now be 4 years this Sept. that we've been dating. I got my, now our, dog the same weekend I met him which was Labor Day Weekend.

Jared is 32 and a Social Studies teacher and is a wonderful teacher. He has a great rapport with his students. I am so proud of him doing what he does.
I am 30 and work at an Insurance broker in Downtown Minneapolis. I've been in insurance for 11 years now. It's definitely not the most exciting industry to be in but it works and has been good to me over the years. I'd actually love to be a Wedding Planner though if I could!
We love the Twins and have season tickets for this year. Jared also played baseball throughout high school and college at St. John's.

My cat Chewy, Jared isn't a huge Chewy fan, but as I told him it comes with the package:) And no I did not name him after Star Wars.
